Science Fiction in the News Articles
Related to material in Minority Report (Movie)
by Stephen Spielberg

The movie Minority Report is based on Philip K. Dick's short story of the same name (read more about Minority Report by PKD). This excellent 2002 film stars Tom Cruse as John Anderton, the man falsely accused of future murder by the Precrime unit. Fantastic special effects really make this film a science fiction classic along with good performances (Max von Sydow is particularly good); this is a very enjoyable and remarkable film. Reportedly, many of the sfnal ideas derived from a 2-day discussion involving people from MIT's Media Lab and others.
