Ultraset (Ultrawave Set)  
  A device that used ultrawave faster-than-light (FTL) communication.  

Lester del Rey was not quite the first to use the word "ultrawave" to describe a communication method. In describing the device, he uses "ultrawave set" and "ultraset."
