| Suspensor Lamp | ||
| A lamp that will float in mid-air, and will stay where you put it. |
The world of Dune offers a variety of technologies, but placed in an almost medieval setting. One technology that is often used is the "suspensor", a means of floating an object.
| By the half-light of suspensor lamp, dimmed and hanging near the floor, the awakened boy could see a bulky female shape at his door, standing one step ahead of his mother. |

The suspensor lamp is very handy; no cords, can sit at any height you want and apparently never needs to be charged!
