Mind-Shield  
  A mental defense or barrier that prevents access to one brain by another person or device.  

As far as I know, this is the first use of the term, if not the concept.

"You will lower your mind shield. Of course, I don't expect absolutely free access to your brain. I have no objection to your controlling your thoughts on a narrow range all around the subject. But your shield must go down - now!
