Filt-Plug  
  A nose plug worn to collect moisture from exhaled air.  

On parched Arrakis, the wise traveler wears filt-plugs and a breathing mask over the mouth, to conserve moisture.

FILT-PLUG: a nose filter unit worn with a stillsuit to capture moisture from the exhaled breath.
