"Cyberspace is a metaphor that allows us to grasp this place where since about the time of the second world war we've increasingly done so many of the things that we think of as civilization."
- William Gibson

Law Clerk Robot
  A robotic lawyer.

Just a brief mention, but its an early look at this idea.

The law clerk arrived, a smallish robot with a battered stainless steel hide and dull coppery features. Elon took the robot aside for a terse conversation before he came back to Morey.

"As I thought," he said in satisfaction. "No precedent. No laws prohibiting. Therefore no crime."
