The Ultra HD screen uses a special film instead of plastic as backing to allow screen to be rolled into a tight tube.
The new 1.05 trillion won ($900 million) flexible OLED plant in being built in Korea. Starting in 2017, it will make four times as many screens as the current-gen plant thanks to a larger 'substrate' sheet size.
