Robot Bricklayer Or Passer-By Bricklayer?
When I saw this terrific graphic of a robotic bricklayer - I assume from some AI somewhere - it reminded me of an entirely different scheme to get brick laying done cheap.

The Bambakias hotel idea from Bruce Sterling's 1998 novel Distraction was a clever way to take advantage of passers-by. If Wikipedia worked, why not this?
