AI Tries To Replicate Famous People

As everyone knows, clever entrepreneurs and neural net postdocs are looking for a new project, and replicating the personalities of people by training nets on their thousands of tweets, facebooks, youtube videos and so on seems like a great idea.

An idea that Rudy Rucker described about forty years ago in Soft Death, a story he wrote and published in Fantasy Science Fiction; see the entry for lifebox.

Compare also to lifelog from Halting State (2007) by Charles Stross, alibi-archive from Hominids by Robert J. Sawyer and the life recorder from Roger Zelazny's 1966 novel The Dream Master.
