OK, NASA 3D Printer Of Food Not Yet Star Trek Food Synthesizer

3D printed food on the space station? That's pretty advanced, right? Although to be honest it's not quite a Star Trek food synthesizer.

All of us kids from the Sixties of course recall with fondness the food synthesizer from Star Trek: TOS. You had to pick the card you wanted, rather than choosing with an app, just saying.

But we did have Pop Tarts! Pretty much instant hot food, at least for 1964. The Blueberry Pop Tarts were my favorite.
