PALRO Companion Robot

PALRO is a foot-tall robot from Fujisoft. It has a 1.6GHz CPU Intel Atom CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of flash memory, a 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, 802.11 b/g/n, and a lithium ion battery.

(See if you and PALRO could be friends)

PALRO comes with a $3,300 price tag, so choose your robotic companions with care.

In thinking about companion robots in science fiction, I came up with C3PO and Marvin from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Do you have a favorite companion robot?
