White Box Robotics 'Apache' - More Punch Than R2D2

Tom Burick, president of White Box Robotics, has sent us a few pix of their new concept robot - the 912 "Apache." It was designed by TFX - the same guys who designed the Batmobile and other famous movie props.

Eat your heart out, R2 - rockets and Gatling laser guns - this bot is perfect for home defense.

Unfortunately, as you have no doubt surmised, this is but a concept robot. However, keep in mind that White Box Robotics provides the platform - you provide the hardware. If you got busy in your workshop, you and the other elves might just have one of these ready to guard the tree by year's end.

Be sure to see the earlier article - White Box Robotics 912 - Hackable Home Robot. And check out White Box Robotics.
