Phasma Insect Robot Runs Like A Bug
The Phasma six-legged remote-controlled robot is designed from the legs up to mimic the way insects move and run. The design makes use of an alternating tripod gait, which is used by actual insects.

The movements of this remote-controlled insectile robot reminds me of the running motion made by the CGI-based spider surveillance assistant robots from Stephen Spielberg's 2002 movie Minority Report:

Fans of Michael Crichton's 1985 movie Runaway also recall the sinister scuttling insect robots that menaced good guy Tom Selleck.
