The Multi-Touch G2 is a multi-touch screen interface that can be applied to any LCD or plasma screen. The device was created by PQLabs.
Multi-Touch G2 is essentially an LCD overlay that sells for $2,399 in a 32" size. Put it on a good 32^ flat panel display hooked into a good computer running Windows XP and you're ready to go. PQ Labs will sell you an iTable with all of this configured for about $10K.
What really appeals to me is the highly customizable interface that lets you specify whatever gestures seem to work or make sense in context. Take a look at Warcraft III running on a PQ Labs Multi-Touch G2-equipped iTable, and see how natural it can feel to put your hands right on your game.

Even though this does not give you the "your data/media/internet in the palm of your hand" experience that you can get with the iPhone, it still gives some intimation of how the future of gaming will look.
