Nanohmics Flash Grenade And Blade
The Nanohmics solid-state non-pyrotechnic stun grenade is intended as a replacement for current "flash-bang" grenades. Current hardware can cause fires and may injure innocent bystanders.
The Nanohmics version makes use of LEDs and piercing sounds; it offers variable flash frequency/intensity and adjustable event duration. It is also reusable.

This device reminds me very strongly of the UV grenade developed by Blade's equipment jock in Blade II.

(UV grenade from Blade II)
When activated, it creates an intense burst of solar-style UV light that toasts any vampire unlucky enough to be caught napping.
A working prototype of the Nanohmics stun grenade has been developed; the company is currently working with Northrop Grumman to perform visual effects modeling and human use testing.
