EMIEW 2 is an office worker robot from Hitachi; its acronym means "Excellent Mobility and Interactive Existence as Workmate." It does not stand very tall, and intimidates no one; at only 31 inches tall and 29 pounds you won't think about Terminator robots roaming through your office.
EMIEW 2 has a gyrosensor to maintain balance, lithium ion batteries for up to an hour of movement before recharging and a laser system that helps it map out its surroundings. It can also dodge obstacles, including human ones
As you will note, it makes its way on just two closely-spaced wheels; apparently it can also get down on its knees transformer-style.
I sort of liked the original EMIEW; it was more cartoon-friendly (see video below)

Illustrating Classic Heinlein With AI
'Stasis, cold sleep, hibernation, hypothermia, reduced metabolism, call it what you will - the logistics-medicine research teams had found a way to stack people like cordwood and use them when needed.'
Deflector Plasma Screen For Drones ala Star Wars
'If the enemy persists in attacking or even intensifies their power, the density of the plasma in space will suddenly increase, causing it to reflect most of the incoming energy like a mirror.'
