Got Big Ears, Large Forehead? Star Trek Needs You

If you're not doing anything this coming Saturday, and you can get to California, there might be a part for you in the new Star Trek movie. The film is a "prequel" that details life in Star Fleet Academy prior to the time depicted in the original Star Trek series.

Oh, and there's one other thing.

They are interested in particular people to play Star Fleet cadets; in addition to being "thin, athletic and fit," do you have any of these physiological characteristics?

  • extremely large head and/or forehead
  • wide- or close-set eyes
  • over or undersized ears and/or nose
  • facial deformities
  • pronounced cheekbones
  • also, ultra perfect or ultra plain-looking people

Have no doubts; you're on a mission. The rest of the casting call states "This is an epic project and we are looking for the most intriguing and interesting faces to integrate in this film."

Live long and prosper - in films.
