| "Why not do something wild and go up to the moon and retrieve the material? If I were doing it, I would use my GSLP System to send hundreds of powered projectiles up to the moon to both retrieve material and bring up material for a moonbase. Since the gravity is so much lower on the moon, solar-powered GSLP projectors could send the powered projectiles back to earth. If they use elctromagnetic field protection, they won't need heavy and costly heat shields and they'll be able to deliver the material to where it is needed. I'd say 100 powered projectiles and half a dozen moonbased projectors could get the job done in a matter of days and cost no more than the Apollo Mission.
