I have absolutely no problem with digitization. I have a problem with the sterilization of libraries en masse. I have a better library reading experience shopping at Barnes & Noble. | "ToothyGoat - you're right. Even the highest resolution screens today lack the contrast of paper. Most usability specialists still agree that overall, people will read less on a screen than they will on paper simply because of fatigue. And Joey1058, beware the day they get rid of bookstores. The commonplace paper book is a highly evolved piece of technology; we have a lot of reasons to like them. Not the least of which is that they are the best means for archival storage of text - and they are very resistant to tampering. See Kindle Orwellian Nightmare Comes True for more."
