Comments on Virtual Marriages By 2015
If you can't wait to marry a robot by 2050, maybe you could get married in Second Life and enjoy virtual matrimonial bliss. (Read
the complete story)
"When I was a regular member of Cybertown.com back in the mid to late 90s, I was virtually married once, and performed a wedding once. To me, it's a fun thing. However there are some people that take it very seriously. But once you start wanting to do it for real, you open up a can of legal worms. IMO, if you want to do things that seriously, you better be ready to literally live online. Because I can't see people remaining faithful through a purely virtual relationship. "

"I would like to say that virtual relationships are a good medium for some countries where younger people have less opportunities to meet the opposite gender or potential partners...In such online worlds, at least they can meet without breaking rules / traditions and yet have a chance to find their partners."

"I married in Secondlife and still have a wonderful partner, after two failed marriages in real life. Its a good way to learn about your mistakes at no cost of real heart breaks."
