Flexitime  
  A work system that actually tells you when you've put in your time.  

Why can't I have this? This would not be difficult to implement; I suppose businesses think they might get an extra minute or two.

My screen began flashing. I had the console rigged to measure quitting time to the nanosecond. Softech had a flexitime system, which meant that you could quit for the week after putting in forty hours.
