This idea is now being used in cellphones, of course, which allow you to take a picture and then upload it to a server where other people can see it. There are also cameras that offer direct connection for uploading your pictures.

This is similar to an idea being implemented by police in the UK; see head cameras concealed in their uniform headgear.
