"If you were just half the space-sailor I am, you’d- ” "Cut it and come up here!” March ordered impatiently. "Can’t you two let up on this scrapping for a few minutes?" There was silence for a few moments, and then the two climbed up into the broad-windowed little pilot room in which March sat at the controls of the cruiser as it raced through the void. |

Hamilton uses it again in The World With A Thousand Moons:
Kenniston woke up to the fact that he had made a bad slip. He hastily covered up. "You have to be a good bit of a space-sailor to be a meteor-miner, Miss Loring. You have to cover a lot of territory."
Eric Frank Russell, writing as Maurice Hugi, used it in his 1934 story The Mines of Haldane:
Jansen and the doctor turned to the space sailor, who was standing against the rock wall.
