"I am not a speed reader. I am a speed understander."
- Isaac Asimov

E-paper Newspaper
A paper-thin, flexible LCD-style display that is large enough to display a full newspaper page.

At this point in the film, John Anderton (Tom Cruise) is trying to escape from his fellow officers. He boards mass transportation, hoping to lose himself in the crowd. As he enters the train, he is scanned and identified.

Within moments, his position is reported at Precrime headquarters.

"He's been idented on the Metro... His train makes two stops at Twentieth and Thirty-third."

"Send units to each location."

Technovelgy from Minority Report (Movie), by Steven Spielberg.

As we look over the shoulder of a passenger on the train, we can see John Anderton rubbing his eyes. Slowly the newspaper comes into focus.

As we watch, the headlines on the USA TODAY newspaper change from "Molecular nano-technology?" and "Medical nanodevice triumphs!" to "Breaking News! Precrime Hunts its Own!"

(Paper-thin E-Paper Newspaper changes content)

This was presaged in Neal Stephenson's mediatron from his 1995 novel The Diamond Age.
