Young Tom Van Swagger interrupted the concert to get a ball score of the indoor baseball game then in progress in Toronto, Canada, with a rival team from Tokio, Japan, before an estimated audience of one hundred thousand persons. |

As far as I know, the first fully-enclosed (and air-conditioned!) baseball stadium was the Houston Astrodome, built in 1965.
