| The skeleton men of Mercury speak English, but have a good reason for it. |
This is an early example of a good reason for this convenient trope, that aliens all over space speak English.
| With lowered guns, the party retreated before the advancing skeletons only to come up before a bunch that was waiting around the angle of the tunnel. They were trapped! "Throw down your arms!" A harsh, metallic voice issued from the leading skeleton, and rilles clattered to the ground.
