"I would say 75% of the economy is now being run by ex-science-fiction fans."
- Greg Bear

Robot Ramp
A special means of ingress and egress solely for use by mechanical help.

Free robots, like F-R, were not welcome to take their place with the human beings.

Standing on the raised man-walk on the south side of Agency Avenue, he looked like any of the other utility-robots that hurried up and down the robot-ramp behind him performing their various services occupied in their various jobs except for the letters F-R stenciled in black on his silvery service, and the fact that he was not moving along the low-set robot ramp.
