"In 1977, it took about eight months for a slightly faster more refined mechanism to put punk in the window of Holt Renfrew. It's gotten faster ever since."
- William Gibson

Radar Mesentery
A thick covering that supports a network of sensors.

This term refers to the "skin" of a wrestling robot named "Rolem" and is an intriguing way for a machine to sense its opponents.

It doesn't really "see" its opponent with those eye-things it has; it's all sheathed about with piezo-electric radar mesentery, and it "watches " from all its surfaces.
