"The whole problem of energy sources is going to be solved by little solutions, not by some big new piece of technology that does everything. We got into this crisis by believing that we had one big piece of technology that would do everything (oil)."
- Gregory Benford

Psypyx
A way of gathering and recording mental impressions.

I really like this as an alternative to the usual attempts to record minds by collecting electrical impulses. This device really appears to collect impressions, the whole mental image: not just the picture of the scene, but how the person felt.

"I kept in touch with Johan while he was wearing your psypyx, because we both thought it was important for you to stay in touch with as many people as possible..."
