Comments on Chameleon T-Shirts With Electrochromic Polymers
At last, William Gibson's polycarbon suit is starting to take shape - good news for all Panther Moderns. (Read
the complete story)
"There are Chameleon Suits that Mariens wear in StarFist written by David Sherman and Dan Cragg. One of their staple technologies. You can go here for more information on the books. http://www.randomhouse.com/delrey/catalog/results.pperl?title=starfist"

"gid - Here's a quote from one of the StarFist books (A World Of Hurt - published in 2004) that shows a negative side to chameleon suits: "About twelve minutes later the squad leaders showed up, dripping wet and muddy enough that the chameleon effect of their uniforms was negated." Of course, if you're that muddy, you might be able to blend in to the terrain even with an (initially) white t-shirt!"

"So, sometime in the conceivable future, we could all wear suits of changing MOVING rainbow "make-your-eyes-bleed" patterns like in Gankutsuou (anime version of "Count of Monte Cristo").
If you're not familiar with the show, get information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gankutsuou and view clips via YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/results?search=Gankutsuou "
