"Sounds like a great idea for long distance hikers especially. Although the article only mentions a short wire and attaching the charging device on your ankle, just run the line up your pants leg and attach to your belt. Of course, if you're wearing shorts or a skirt, a holster at the top of your calf would make better sense than an ankle one. Less of a pendulum swing."
