Comments on Iceland's Krona Worth More In MMORG EVE Online?
As we move back and forth between real and virtual worlds, it gets harder to tell where the real money is. (Read
the complete story)
"If the EVE ISK is interchangeable for the ISK, how then can they have different values?" (Ulrich 4/11/2009 6:58:17 PM)
"What it sounds like is that while they once had the same value, ISK vs Eve ISK has shifted apart in general. They must use a standard exchange rate for other currencies so that if you bring money into or out of the game, it translates into your currency fairly easily. With that, their exchange rate from ISK to Eve ISK must be suffering but reversely is doing really well. If it was outright fully based on real ISK, it would have collapsed when ISK did. As in game values are all based on design of the game, you can artificially keep the value set to whatever you want, its the exchange rates that matter." (Brandon 4/11/2009 10:29:54 PM)
"Meaning the title of this report is a bit off." (Ulrich 4/12/2009 7:15:34 PM)
"re the so called actual video clip of Island, I have been there several times and this clip just shews what poor photography, tuned down colour, underexposure and careful editing can do to give a totally false impression of a truly beautiful, fairytale country with wonders of nature all over it. Hundreds of thousands of tourists go there every year, and love it." (Briar 4/23/2009 10:12:08 AM)
