Flying through thunderstorms, they would extend wire wings which would attract lighting, then it would course through massive cabling into what seemed to be a fictional capacitor. "Dustin - you're right, I'd seen that movie but didn't remember. Treating 'bottled lightning' as a tradeable commodity worked very well in the film.
