Comments on Super Soaker With Electro-Hydrodynamic Power
This prototype device could allow police to fill up their nonlethal weapons from your garden hose. (Read
the complete story)
"So the other forms of crowd control can still potentially maim. Can this one potentially blind if misdirected at the eyes?"
(Jake 8/27/2007 12:04:23 PM) |
"That's a very good question; looking at the specs I guess I doubt it. The burst of water has spread out to more than a foot in diameter. You've got me wondering, though, if you got hit in the face, would you suffer from whiplash?"
(Bill Christensen 8/28/2007 5:35:40 PM) |
"You will notice that this piece of equipment is classed as "non-lethal", not as "non-injury". If there is an unruly (riotous) crowd, and the measures used against them have no risk of any injury, there is no motivation to go away."
