An entertainment device which appeared to create both sound and light by acting directly on brain cells. It also stimulated emotions directly. (Read the full article)

"I think the Visi-Sonor is a advanced version of a gadget that has been invented years(hundreds/thousands of years?) ago. In the novel "The stars, like dust" someone(Gilbret Hinriad, I tink) invented a plaything that does nothing specific but stimulate the brain. He commented that everyone is seeing something different, that it is affecting the brain directly, bypassing eyes and ears."

"visisonor is what i call my bass. got it from asimov. he had a character, the Mule, who had one. essentially its an instrument that allows the listener to see and feel the colors, textures and notes played. it essentially causes hallucinations, albeit pleasant. yep, thats what my bass does too."
