RFID Chipped Employees Of Three Square Market
Implanted chip technology is being offered to all employees of Three Square Market in August.
In the 2014 novel Spark, author John Twelve Hawks details the characteristics of a "Freedom ID" (i.e., an implanted RFID chip):
Also, sf author Neal Stephenson referred to an implanted credit card in his 1995 novel The Diamond Age.
I've written a number of articles on the implantation of RFID tags over the years:
Employees will be implanted with a RFID chip allowing them to make purchases in their break room micro market, open doors, login to computers, use the copy machine, etc. This program, offered by 32M, is optional for all employees. The company is expecting over 50 staff members to be voluntarily chipped. 32M is partnering with BioHax International and Jowan Osterland, CEO, based out of Sweden.
