"Teleprinters absolutely exist nowadays. (Ignore fax machines for the sake of argument.) First, there are now completely electronic editions as Kat points out. Then there is print-on-demand (services like Lulu), which is a very similar concept. Finally, at least one kiosk here in Berlin sells custom-printed newspapers. It's more of a gimmick than a real industry of course, but it exists. I *think* you can customize them, but I never bothered to buy one (I perhaps should) so I am not sure on that point.
