Orson Scott Card

Orson Scott Card (b. 1951) is an American writer who got his start with science fiction and fantasy. His novels Ender's Game and its sequel Speaker for the Dead both won the Hugo and the Nebula award for their respective years, a feat unmatched by any other writer. He holds a Master's degree in English from the University of Utah; he is currently Distinguished Professor at Southern Virginia University.
