Boy Makes Biomimetic Turtle Robot
A Canadian boy has come up with a biomimetic robot turtle. Is there a science-fictional reference to such a thing? X's Bruce P to the rescue!

In Mark Elf, Cordwainer Smith describes a manshonyagger, a predatory robot:
"It had legs like a grasshopper, a body like a ten-foot turtle, and three heads which moved restlessly in the moonlight."
