Skiing On The Moon - Skiing on Asteroids?
In his 1949 story Nothing Ever Happens on the Moon, science fiction Grandmaster Robert Heinlein describes a unique idea - skiing on the Moon!
Heinlein introduces moon skis in his 1940 novel Requiem:
MacIntyre bent down without a word and picked up the wide skis necessary to negotiate the powdery ash.
So, when I saw this dramatic picture of an asteroid landscape coated with dust and loose particles posted by @ProfAbelMendez on Twitter, I naturally thought of ... skiing!
