Trinitite, Pentagrams And Isaac Asimov
This story about how trinitite, which is formed when sand is fused together in a nuclear blast, contains pentagrams of icosahedrite.

In the May, 1956 issue of Fantastic Universe, science fiction writer Isaac Asimov contributed a VERY short short story. I'm going to spoil it for you here. Titled Hell Fire, the setup is that atomic bombs bring hell-fire right to the surface of the Earth. What would a photograph of the very first instant of the explosion look like?
