LaWS Laser Can Take Out Rogue Drones
The Laser Weapons System (LaWS) is now ready to take care of those rogue drones - I didn't even know that there were any drones gone "rogue".
"Operationally, it works just like a laser pointer," Lt. Cale Hughes, a LaWS officer, told CNN. "There's a chamber inside with special materials that release photons."
This made me think of the tough officers of the Runaway squad - in charge of taking out robots that had gone rogue and were wreaking havoc.
