Charlie Health Care Robot For Kiwis
Charlie the health care robot is hard at work in Auckland, New Zealand's Selwyn Village. Patients who agree to face the future are treated to robotic health care assistance. So far, patients and staff love Charlie.

The robot is designed to do simple tasks usually done by an aged care worker such as taking vital signs, reminding patients to take medication and even chatting with them, albeit simply.The robot can move through a patient's house unaided, guided by a coded pattern on the roof and the camera on the top of his screen will allow for instant face recognition, which means better human interaction.
Fans of anime may recall the amazing Roujin-Z robotic bed, which has even more advanced features.
