BokitoViewer was developed at the Rotterdam Zoo. When a gorilla named Bokito escaped and attacked a female visitor, it was noted that she (the human visitor) had made the key mistake of frequent direct eye contact. Gorillas don't like that.

So, they distributed these handy glasses to visitors; now everyone is happier.

Just imagine how much good these glasses would do in human conflict situations. No direct eye contact, lowered aggression on both sides - falling down laughing...
