Comments on Meal Assistance Robot Feeds You
'Please robot... I want some more.' Reader help is requested. (Read the complete story)

"well, there was an episode of the Disney cartoon "Goof Troop" (the series - not the movie) where Max was trying to help his friend P.J. pass an exam at school. He built a robot that would feed his friend (who was strapped into it) chocolate for every right answer he got (he got an egg on his head for every wrong answer!)"

"I think my children were too old for that series when it came along, so I missed it. That's a good try, but probably doesn't count as sf."

"My High School English teacher wrote a story called 'Kismet' which contained a robot feeding system. Unfortunately, it was never published AFAIK."

"Charlie Chaplin - Modern Times (1936) search youtube for "Modern Times - Charlie Chaplin Eating Machine" Many sites have photos of the sequence. acephoto. org has one with embedding code - so it would probably be ok to post as well. gonemovie. com has one with the corn on the cob."

"Great! Thanks everyone."
