HAL Robotic Suit Ready For Production
The HAL robotic suit (HAL stands for Hybrid Assistive Limb) will soon be available on the market, according to Tsukuba University. The HAL suit gives extra power to the arms and legs of the person who wears it.

An ordinary person can easily pick up objects weighing 180 pounds, and carry several hundred pounds on their shoulders wearing the suit. The HAL robot suit will have a variety of uses in nursing care facilities and factory settings.
The likely price will be about $45,000; monthly rental to individuals will probably be about $600.
