It is planned that by 2021 Fedor adapt to the new manned spacecraft and will begin flight tests.According to Vice-Premier of Russia Dmitry Rogozin, Android is able to independently choose the best solution to the problem and, if necessary, the operator can take control.
Of course, humanoid robots have been popular since the earliest science fiction movies, but everyone alive today remembers C3PO.
