Raincatch Raincoat Has Dune-Style Watertube And Catchpocket
Thirsty? Put on the Raincatch, an amazing new raincoat designed by Hyeona Yang and Joshua Noble. If it's raining, you'll soon be sippin' on delicious, filtered rainwater.

Although it looks like a plain giant plastic bag full of tubes, Raincatch actually hides a complex water purifying mechanism. The collar of the raincoat captures rainwater which is then passed through charcoal filters and a chemical purifying system. The drinkable water is then stored in pockets around the shoulders and the wearer can take sips at any time via a series of plastic tubes sticking out of the raincoat.
Fans of Frank Herbert's epochal 1965 novel Dune are thinking about the stillsuits that Fremen wore to reclaim the moisture of their bodies on their desert planet.
He found his stillsuit's watertube in its clip at his neck, drew a warm swallow into his mouth, and he thought that here he truly began an Arrakeen existence - living on reclaimed moisture from his own breath and body. It was flat and tasteless water, but it soothed his throat.
