British Intelligence Pays For Ads In Video Games
So, there you are, walking along in your favorite first-person shooter game. You wander through a mall and - hey, isn't that an advertisement for one of the British intelligence agencies?
(British intelligence wants a few good shooters)
GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters), the surveillance arm of British intelligence, said that it hopes to attract computer-savvy young recruits.
This strikes me as a much cheaper alternative than creating an entire game to reel them in, like the America's Army game. This game is an official U.S. Army game with millions of registered users.
