Comments on Robot Cosplay! HRP-4C Robot As Hatsune Miku At CEATEC 2009
Full-on robotic cosplay at CEATEC; a well-known female robot plays computer-generated anime singer Hatsune Miku. (Read the complete story)

"Seems kinda cool though I kinda wish there were a demonstration video of the actual robot. It's too bad that the video is more about Hatsune Miku's origins. I appreciate my Anime and I find it unfortunate that they went with a more human appearance to the face of the bot. There is an acronym for most anime called BESM which stands for Big Eye Small Mouth. It describes the look of large amounts of anime characters, especially the girls. I always find it unfortunate when live action interpretations don't stick to the BESM standard."

"Well, after all, it was the robot doing the cosplay; the HRP-4c robot has regular-sized eyes because it's a humanoid robot... Also, I think that the source article had a video associated with it; I'm not sure how good it is. I'll download it and report back."

"Okay, Brandon. You asked for it, you got it. Hatsune Miku kicks out the jams in "Yukkuri Shiteitte ne!!" (Take it Easy.) You'll want to turn your speakers up for this one, readers.

"Here's a short video taken at CEATEC 2009 that shows the original HRP-4C robot doing some singing of her (its) own.
